Can an employee, as part of a settlement, ask to be redeployed to a less stressful role with the same salary if their current job becomes too much?
Essentially I feel they are responsible for my disability. I believe that this would appear to them to be the case also. Can, as part of a settlement, I ask that should my current job prove too much for me, that they redeploy me to a less stressful role and protect my salary?

If you’re negotiating a settlement you can ask for what you want, it’s whether such an arrangement would be acceptable to them. There’s nothing you can do legally to force them to agree. There will be too many specific sensitivities in your case to give you more specific advice.
