NQ how devastating for you. I'm so sorry to hear this. How old is your child? If they are 12 or over then returning home is more difficult as the child's wants and opinion is heard and it depends on what your daughter truly wants. He cannot just change school though. When you apply to a school it asks about parental responsibility and you have to upload proof. I have done it twice for my step children. So it isnt allowed but whether the people at his county council do their job correctly is another matter. I would call his local county council and speak to children services as well as school admissions team to get further advice. I hope she comes home soon 🙏 💓
