Can an Executor ignore a beneficiary's request not to be contacted by family members?
I would be grateful for some insight into the below question. If a beneficiary of a Will has requested not to be contacted by family members, can an Executor (family member) wait until they are contacted by the beneficiary’s Solicitor? Had hoped for the purpose of all beneficiaries not to use Solicitors for communications and distribution of Assets. Other family members are happy with the Executor. Thank you

Tax Adviser. I would have thought your legal requirements as an executor overrode the beneficiary's wishes. If the beneficiary has a solicitor you could advise them, but he/she will end up paying.
