How long does the eviction process usually take?
My landlord is evicting & as per the councils rules we have been told to stay put. We have done the section 21 & his just about to submit the papers to court. Can anyone tell me roughly how long this will take? The council are not returning my emails & i have a disabled child so need to get everything in place & be prepared. Thanks in advance

NQ- a lot depends on if your local court has a backlog. A rough idea is around 4-6 weeks min for accelerated possession and 6-8 weeks min for standard possession . After that it’s a wait for bailiffs- min of 14 days for county court bailiffs but can be longer
