If the person who a property is in probate for passes away before the probate has ended, what happens to the property?
Please could somebody explain what happens if a property is going through probate and the person who the probate is for passes away before the probate has ended. What happens to the property. The person who passes away has a will. Dont know if that makes a difference.

Solicitor (no longer in practice). If the executor dies after obtaining the grant of probate and has left a will, it becomes the responsibility of their executor to finalise the original estate
