Is it a data breach if you opt out of the NHS data sharing and still receive a survey from Imperial College London?
Hello I hope some one may be able to help? I opted out of the NHS data sharing before the date to opt out expired, I opted out on line and also hand delivered paperwork to my Dr Surgery who said they would put it on my records. Last week I received an Ipsos MORI survey for Covid research at Imperial College London and they said they got my information from the NHS list of patients registered with a GP. I also had a text from them reminding me to do the survey. I am not doing the survey or covid testing! But is this a data breach? I am going to complain anyway but if I have opted out how come they are allowed to pluck my name from the register? They now have details of my name DOB, ethnicity, sex, NHS number, email address, mobile phone number and address which I am not happy about, Thanks in advance for any one that can help
