Is it legal to tow a trailer for the carriage of passengers behind a vintage tractor?
Can anyone shed some light on the law regarding towing a trailer for the carriage of passengers behind a vintage tractor ? Similar to that like the shoot boxes used to carry person's from shooting grounds via the roads behind a tractor. (This is not for the purpose for hire and reward. Just for friends and family) I've attached a couple screen shots of what I can find but nothing is set in stone 😭 I have read a copy of the highway code 2015 but there's very limited information on tractors. I have written permission from my insurance company to insure me to do this but that doesn't necessarily mean it's legal. Any help and advice would be grateful!

NQ - are you planning to do this on or off road as it looks like the rules would vary depending on which.

NQ. We do do this a lot for vintage tractor runs. In many cases the police wave us off after closing roads etc. I’ve never even considered it to be an issue!
