Is the author being pressured to agree to move out of their property for 10 weeks without knowing if their mobility needs will be met?
Hi .I really need some advice please Back in 2012 I complained to my housing association about damp in the down stairs of my home two floors ..this got Ignored for many years . Excusing me of pouring water on my carpets. I then managed to get a solicitor. After two years, the housing association have agreed a small settlement and to do the work However, I am now being pressured by my solicitor and housing association to agree to move out of the property for 10 weeks. They will sort out alternative accommodation . However it would seem that I am being presures to agree to this without them stating whether my mobility needs will.be met as I have a mobility scooter. I am presently nr my son who helps from day to day. But the solicitor refuses to bring up these issues with housing association . And trying to force me to agree to move out for that long , which seems excessive for two down stairs floors, all though they now state thsy gonna paint walls , which I didn't request . I cannot stand for long so would need help packing stuff .which apparently this is no cost to me , But they won't even tell me when I have to leave , or whether my needs could be met because of disabilities, but apparently he's says i have to agree , any advice on this I would be so grateful Thanks
