My friend is not on social media at all. Has been with her partner now for a year and a half They have lived together for a year Not married He has a 5 year old son with his ex partner who.works 5 6 hour shifts monday to Friday. He has his son 3 nights every week. He works 12 hour shifts weekdays all.around tbe country. My friend has been working from home since Covid. She is expected by her partners ex to have his son with her during school breaks even though she has a full time job where she is answering calls with the public making appointments and attending meetings. My friend is concerned as she has no parental.responsibility and is worried would she be held accountable if the child had an accident in her care because she could not watch him while she was on a call etc Her partners ex is aware ny friend is working at home and not just unemployed. Her patner does try and take days off as A/L when he can to look.after his son in.the holidays.but its not always possible. His ex does not try to take days off at all.and puts the care on my friend. This impacts her job as she is distracted several times a day by the child is with her.
