I'm looking for advice please. My mum is terminally ill and my brother has stopped all contact, calling and seeing my mum. I have no idea why he is like this as I brought him up as my son. This is affecting my mental health. My Dr has already written...

NQ, but having been in a similar position, ultimately it is up to your Mum who she sees, and you should pursue contact directly- if she is in a hospital or hospice, they will not abide by his wishes (unless he has power of attorney) and if she says she wants to see you then he cannot stop it! May be worth establishing whether he has influenced or is trying to influence any of her financial decisions!
