What do I need to do to divorce my husband whilst keeping my anonymity?
NQ - Hello, I am new to this group. Almost 3 years ago I fled domestic violence from my husband, he still has no idea where I am and I'd like to keep it that way. I am registered on the electoral roll as anonymous. I want a divorce but am terrified he will somehow find me during the process. I have gone above and beyond to stay incognito and do not want divorce proceedings to be the reason I get acid in my face or murdered (genuinelyfeasible). My question being, what do I need to do to divorce my husband whilst keeping my anonymity? Thank you 😊

Solicitor (no longer in practice). There is no need to give your address in the divorce petition ( form D8). As explained on D8, you can give your address separately and confidentially to the court on form C8. Are there financial or property issues that need to be sorted during the divorce? If so, you may be entitled to legal aid because of the DV and depending on your financial position
