What is the best course of action to take for receiving a PCN in the Bath clean air zone?
If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it. On 28 November last year my partner travelled to Bath to carry out a job for one day. We live in Derby and have never been to Bath previously. Today we received a PCN - use of a vehicle within Bath clean air zone. They are charging £120 (£60 if paid within 14 days) plus £9 clean air zone charge. We obviously were not aware of the clean air zone as we are not from Bath and if we did we would have paid the £9. We can make a representation but the options for this doesn’t fall in with our objection to the charge. Photo attached of compelling reasons. Can anyone advise what the best course of action is please. Thanks in advance

NQ you can try to appeal it but there is signage everywhere on the approaching roads so you will struggle with this

NQ law student- the best course of action is to pay it. As Babs says, the roads are flooded with signage so you have no defence really.
