David Wells

David is a UK-qualified solicitor who has spent much of his career to date practicing at leading London law firms, including Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and Simmons & Simmons. He has a background in complex commercial litigation, financial services disputes, and consumer and business claims.

He advises individuals, entrepreneurs, and small to medium-sized businesses on resolving disputes efficiently, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, or court proceedings.

He has particular experience in contractual disputes, debt recovery, property-related litigation, and group and mass-consumer claims, including financial mis-selling and regulated consumer disputes. His approach is pragmatic and commercially focused, with a strong emphasis on early strategic assessment, leverage, and cost-effective outcomes.

Alongside litigation, David regularly advises businesses and founders on non-contentious corporate and commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and service agreements; advising on shareholder and partnership arrangements; and providing practical guidance on managing legal risk as a business grows.
