Diane Morrison

I have worked in the legal sector consistently since 2002 including government departments and high street firms.  I have extensive experience as an adviser since 2007.  I qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and worked predominantly in the not-for-profit sector as a social welfare solicitor.  My background includes legal advice and representation in Employment and Social Security tribunals and Landlord & Tenant (Legal Aid).

Prior to this, I worked in debt, conducted front facing clinics, ran training courses for community groups and supervised volunteers and interns.

I manage employment law claims from triage up to and including tribunal advocacy in multiple-day, full merit hearings. Although I am more at ease with claimant work, I am bolstering my experience working representing respondents.

In 2014, I was awarded the Law Society Excellence Award as In-House lawyer of the year.

I am a member of the Employment Law Association (ELA) and have taken part in the ELIPS (Employment Litigation In Person Scheme),  which offers pro bono advice and advocacy to unrepresented individuals attending the Tribunal.
