Jessica Dalziel-Smith

I joined Lawhive in March 2025 as a Solicitor in the in-house Civil Litigation team, where I focus on making the legal process accessible and straightforward for clients. My background spans both regional and London private practice, giving me a practical, results-driven approach to resolving disputes for both individuals and businesses.

My legal career began in Dorset, where I gained over two years of hands-on experience in dispute resolution before completing my training contract and qualifying in March 2023. My training included valuable seats in Company Commercial, Private Client and Commercial Litigation which provided me with a well-rounded commercial perspective. I subsequently moved to London to undertake a mixed litigation role, honing my skills in a fast-paced environment in Civil Litigation matters including both Property and Commercial disputes.

Throughout my time in practice, I have managed a diverse range of contentious matters. My experience includes handling landlord and tenant disputes, boundary and right of way issues, and professional negligence claims. On the commercial side, I have advised on shareholder disputes, breaches of contract, and debt recovery. I now use this broad expertise to help Lawhive clients navigate their legal challenges with confidence.
