Yasmin van der Poel

Yasmin is an accomplished commercial solicitor with a strong track record advising businesses on complex contractual, regulatory, and transactional matters. Since qualifying as a solicitor, Yasmin has built a reputation for her pragmatic legal insight and client-focused approach, working across sectors including technology, retail, and financial services.

Her career has spanned both private practice and in-house roles, where she has led on high-value commercial negotiations, risk management strategies, and corporate governance initiatives. Yasmin has experience in Educational Governance, SEND pupils and has chaired staff and pupil Disciplinary panels. Yasmin has provided advocacy and support for tenants living in PDR's and is a member of the Public Advisory Panel for Prof Ben Clifford's research project looking at the Health Impact of Residents in PDRs.
