Ed qualified as a solicitor in 2009 after studying Law & Politics at Cardiff University (2000 – 2003) and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, Chester (2005 – 2006).
Ed is based on the Wirral in Cheshire and has been working as a consultant solicitor since 2018 after leaving employment in private practice as a civil litigator. He has been retained by Lawhive since 2025 and can advise on a range of general commercial, corporate, employment and dispute resolution matters.
Ed was the winner of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division Person of the Year at the Liverpool Law Society Legal Awards 2009. He also won the Muir Matthews Prize 2008 for his contribution to the Trainee Solicitors Group in Liverpool.
Outside of work Ed enjoys running, cycling and working out regularly at the gym. He is also a keen Formula 1 fan.
