Rachel Chiarotti

Rachel is a Consultant Solicitor, with over 10 years’ experience in private practice, specialising in:

• Wills • Lasting Powers of Attorney • Grant of Probate applications (including Letters of Administration) • Deputyship applications • Declarations of Trust • Name Change Deeds • General Estate Planning services, such as specialist Inheritance Tax, Trust and Care Home Fee advice.

Rachel is an Affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners) and was recognised as a “Rising Star” in The Legal 500 UK 2024. Her clients describe her as “not only an excellent solicitor but a truly wonderful and warm person, with her extensive knowledge and expertise, as well as her lovely manner”.

Before joining Setfords as a Consultant, Rachel worked at Fosters Solicitors LLP for over 12 years, qualifying into the Wills, Trusts, and Probate Department as a Solicitor in 2014. She was subsequently awarded recognition as a Senior Associate in 2016.

As well as spending time with her family and friends, Rachel enjoys yoga, long-distance walking and has a passion for Mediterranean cuisine. Rachel also has a keen interest in languages. She was raised bilingually by her parents; speaking both English and Italian and later studied Spanish and French.
