Biography

Matthew trained as a solicitor at a City firm at the start of the 1990s. He remained, and went on to practise in dispute resolution, where he continues as a consultant. During this time, Matthew has handled claims on behalf of listed companies, SMEs, large and medium sized professional practices, insurers and government.

Matthew is also a qualified mediator, and has had several years mediating commercial disputes. Through this experience Matthew has seen - from a neutral position - both sides of the same dispute. This has given him valuable insights into the pitfalls of negotiation and how to avoid them.
