Biography

Ben Bradshaw is an Associate Solicitor in our Family Law Department and can deal with a wide range of family law matters including private children disputes, divorce and financial settlements as well as post or pre-nuptial agreements.

Ben has a great deal of experience in acting for married clients in Divorce and Financial Remedy proceedings including enforcement and variation of Financial Orders, varying and discharging Maintenance Order and obtaining or challenging Orders for Maintenance Pending Suit. Ben also deals with financial cases involving unmarried couples including applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA) and the Children Act 1989.

Ben regularly acts for parties in cases involving children, including resolving Residence and Contact disputes for parents and grandparents, obtaining Prohibited Steps, Specific Issue, Social Guardianship and Adoption Orders. Ben also acts for parents and grandparents within Care Proceedings.

Ben joined Stephen Rimmer LLP in 2013 in the family law department before moving to Guildford to study the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the University of Law. During his LPC he specialised in family law and gained a distinction. Ben qualified as a Solicitor in 2018.
