I'm a non-practising solicitor who specialised in property law, wills, trust and probate and family law both in private practice and as a consultant for over 10 years. Now, working at Lawhive, I get to support our mission to provide accessible, affordable, efficient legal help to everyone when they need it. In 2019, I stopped practising law - a little over ten years after qualifying. I loved building relationships with clients, but just wasn’t enjoying the actual day-to-day lawyering. This leads me to today. I get to draw on my 10 years’ experience and skills at generating legal work, together with the power of some pretty fancy tech, and help facilitate access to the law: both for clients and for solicitors who want to work more flexibly. But don’t just take my word for it: “Lawhive takes care of matching clients to me which means that I have more time to focus on doing what I love and allows me to avoid burning out.” Bethany Poulton, Consultant “Lawhive has been a game-changer for me. It’s made my sole practice so much more enjoyable and freed me up to focus on better serving my clients, growing my business, and reaching a realistic work-life balance." Daniel McAfee, Consultant
